Oh my lord... what a week so far!
I have my son's girlfriend staying the week with us, she leaves tomorrow. It's spring break (so I have all my kids home) and to make it even more awesome, I receive the cord for the laptop I needed replaced but then... we had a power outage this afternoon and when the power came back on the router had no life left whatsoever. I spent almost TWO HOURS on the phone with well... one of the dumbest fucking women I have ever had to deal with. I was practically screaming letters into the phone and saying E.. as in Elephant and she'd say so.. C as in Charlie? I'm not one to punch random people I've never met before but, she would take first prize if I ever did.
Bottom line, guess it was my router after all.... shit.
Apparently they'll replace it but I'm not holding my breath on getting it back anytime soon. I do have a spare router at my parents house. Not as good but I mean, maybe we can at least get the computer and the ps3 going at the same time again.
My laptop now won't accept the local area connection so I have no internet on that thing. (isn't life awesome?) so if I want time online.. I have to come downstairs. Which may not sound like a big deal but for me.. it is. So, I'm going to be limited with how much time I can be online AND on the PS3 PLUS all my kids are home for the next two weeks AND I can't drink due to my heart meds so I'm just feeling peachy about everything lately.
Somebody shoot me. Please.
I mean, it's what you would do for a freakin horse when its down, right??
Here's hoping Shaw or HP can figure out why my laptop has suddenly gone mental sometime tomorrow and I'll be on the phone again with Linksys "amazing" customer service to get an order number for my new router. Good times ahead.
